No Sew Reversible Flannel Throw

Tie Strips on Fabric

One of my favorite things in the world is a nice comfy throw. I can’t seem to resist them! I have way too many of them at my house and still, for some reason, I stop every time I see one in the store… I’m always convinced that I need to add a new one to my collection. So when I was walking through Hobby Lobby and saw this plaid fabric, I suddenly had an idea. This would make such a cute throw! And that’s how I got started with this no sew reversible flannel throw.

Flannel Fabric

I started by pinning to the two fabrics together. I tried to follow along a line in the fabric so as to keep my pins straight.

Then I cut 1.5″ strips along all 4 edges of the blanket.

Then I just started tying. I tied and tied and tied.

And in the end, it looked like this!

Flannel Throw

Such an easy and rewarding project! It’s super soft and cuddly, just like a throw should be. So the next time you’re in a craft store and you see some adorable fabric, don’t be afraid to snag it and make your own!

How much fabric do I need? To make this? I want it to be a decent sized blanket.

Hi Anna! You know what I did? I just went to the fabric counter and told them how big I wanted it and they were pretty great about knowing what I needed. I was pretty inexperienced with knowing how much it would take.. :)
