Okay, so it’s not very often that The Sannar’s start feeling crafty. In fact, I would venture to say that Hubbalicious almost NEVER feels the need to get crafty. But he likes spending time together, and lucky for me, he’s a good sport. So on Saturday morning, when I mentioned that it would be fun to do a painting project together… he obliged. We knew Dom had been wanting to paint ever since he got some little paints with his Thomas & Friends coloring book. And I had just happened to get some canvas letters and paint to decorate… so it worked out perfect. Plus, this little Family Tree Puzzle Craft turned out kinda fun!

Fun right? I know the pictures aren’t great because I didn’t plan ahead and I just whipped out the cell phone… But the memories are still great. Everybody had a good time and even Hubbalicious seemed to get into it. Although I don’t expect him to admit it.
After that, the boys decided it was nap time… but if you know me at all, you know I’m not a big nap taker. And I still felt like crafting. So I called up a girlfriend, and we hit Hobby Lobby. I didn’t really know what I was looking for… just a project. I thought maybe a project would hit me when I saw it. And sure enough, as I wandered, I started to get some ideas. I saw some puzzle pieces that looked like fun, and then decided to turn them into a little Sannar Family Tree Puzzle Craft. Here’s how it turned out.

What do you think? I think I like it… It definitely helped curb the crafting crave I was having, and maybe I’ll even hang it on my wall. I just love projects. Anything that has a finished product is always a good time for me. What do you think? What kind of project should I try next?? I’m always looking for suggestions!!
