Don’t you love the beginning of the new year when everybody is setting goals and starting new projects? I always find it so motivating and inspiring to read what other folks are up to. And one of the things that inspires me the most, is the 365 Photo Project. A photo a day for 365 days. It seems simple enough right? Yet, I’ve hesitated for far too long, afraid to commit to a project of that size. But no more. I’m jumping on the bandwagon. While there are many reasons why, these are the most important reasons why I will #Cherish365 Moments in 2016:
#1 I have read multiple times and from many different sources, that a 365 project is one of the best things you can do to improve your photography skills. It forces you to think about fun, new, and exciting ways to photograph your life. I’m quite sure I won’t be fun and exciting all the time, but I’m totally down to try. (You should too.)
#2 The idea of being able to print all these photos at the end of the year into a fun little album is just too awesome to pass up.
#3 I’m a follower and all the cool kids are doing it. (You should too.)
So here’s my first week in review. I started a little late, but I’m still plugging right along.
Making time to get one document worthy photo every day is proving to be quite a challenge. But it’s one I’m excited about. This is one instance where you should totally give in to peer pressure. Do it. Do it. Join us on the photo project. You’ll be glad you did. Also, how adorable is my child? Can you hardly stand it?? Man! :o) …Do it. Use #Cherish365 and join us!
